Bladnoch's 30 Year Old went into cask in 1990. With around 170 bottles left, the Final Sunset campaign marked the end of its run. We shot across two days, at the distillery and at The Last Bookstore in Glasgow, building everything around three ideas: the liquid, the era it came from, and the fact that this was the last of it. Master distiller Nick Savage carries the films, talking rather than presenting. Part of the stills set was shot on film, so the grain does some of the work the nostalgia needs.
